Speak Greek Brighton

Stefania Borona is a high tech teacher of Classics. For the last 15 years she has been teaching Modern/Ancient Greek and Latin within various organisations and schools in Greece, in America, in the UK. She has also founded the Aristotle’s Institute, that promotes the Greek Language and Culture. Her area of expertise is the preparation for exams such as: GCSE, A level, Panhellenic university entrance exams for Greek and ex-patriots, Entrance exams to private and public schools (such as Anatolia American College, Experimental Schools etc), Greek Language Certificates. Her teaching approach aims to develop reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills equally whilst creating a joyful and creative atmosphere in the classroom by applying principles of game-based learning and by using digital tools.

Her studies include: a BA with honors in Philology with a specialisation in Linguistics (QTS), a Certificate in Sex and Equality in School and Society, a MSc in Information Systems with a specialisation in E-Learning, a Certificate in Programming for Teachers. Today, apart from tutoring students from all over the world online she feels so incredibly lucky to work at the Brighton Greek School. She teaches the GCSE and the A Level Class and she really loves it! She is also very excited and proud of being a partner of the Speak Greek network.
